Internal healthcare marketing: Patient menus, Physician brochure, Brand training earn national awards
Creative Company has earned three national Healthcare Advertising Awards for branding and design work for Salem Health and Salem Hospital. The competition, sponsored by Healthcare Marketing Report, a leading publication for healthcare marketing and advertising, is the oldest, largest and most widely respected healthcare advertising awards competition in the United States.
Patient menus replaced old menus in heavy plastic covers
Salem Hospital’s new patient menus — a series of seven branded, full-color patient menus customized for specific diets, each in English, Spanish and Russian — received a Silver Healthcare Advertising Award in the patient handbook category. The menus use images that fit each specific diet in an easy-to-handle 8-inch square booklet.
An important new education program for Physicians
A program brochure created for Salem Hospital’s new Physician Leadership Institute received a Merit award in the physician referral program category. The brochure introduced the new educational program to hospital leaders and doctors. It profiled the nationally-recognized keynote speakers and emphasized the in-depth training designed into the Institute.
Brand training designed to support internal brand alignment
Lastly, a suite of Salem Health brand training materials received a Bronze award in the employee communication program category. The suite included branded Microsoft Office templates, brand and template user guides, brand identity guidelines and a training program. The program and materials were designed to train Salem Health staff on the importance and use of the brand program; to create internal brand alignment; and to provide staff with tools, resources and templates to effectively implement and manage the brand across all levels of the organization.
The largest national healthcare advertising awards competition
Nearly 4,000 entries were received from across the United States in this year’s competition for healthcare marketing. A national panel of judges reviewed all entries based on creativity, quality, message effectiveness, consumer appeal, graphic design and overall impact.
